God’s Evident Plan

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade-kept in heaven for you, who through Faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1: 1-5

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. 1 Peter 5:4

For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance-now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. Hebrews 9:15

Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. Acts 8:17

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:20

If we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.  2 Timothy 1:12-13

Through our baptism we receive the Holy Spirit. We just need to believe! Heaven is where we need to store up our treasures. God’s plan is to provide salvation for us through His son, Jesus Christ. The inheritance we receive through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, when we believe, will never fade, spoil or perish.

Prayer: Oh Lord God Almighty, thank you for Jesus who saved us from our sins. Help us to be faithful. In Jesus Name, Amen.
